Moving to a new blog…

We’ve got a busy year ahead, and I hope the website will become a reference point for the Art in the Ark exhibitions. So far the blog has been used by artists and makers looking for information on how to submit their work for the shows, but the next stage is to invite visitors and guests online. With a more polished look, and with greater access for all of our featured artists (You will now be invited to submit your own featured content in order to promote your practice outside of the Ark) the site will provide an official directory to the many varied creatives in the Hampshire area and beyond.

I have now moved the site to my server at http://www.JKChapman.com/art_in_the_ark.html where we will no longer be limited by space or bandwidth. The links at the top of the page will now point to the new blog. Although the pages will remain active here for as long as possible, be aware that any old links on your own sites may go out of date during the course of 2013. I hope this won’t cause too much inconvenience, and I hope you will join me for some fantastic new content HERE!

The NEW Blog!

Photographs Before Friday Night’s Exhibition Opening

It is really nice to have the opportunity, once everything is in place, to walk around the show and take some photos of the space. You really absorb the pieces on show, revelling in the harmonies and contrasts that such a diverse arrangement of artwork can throw at you. Have a look at the photographs here
